(SR) Hydrometer & Trial Jar
A hydrometer is designed to measure density of liquids based on the concept of buoyancy. The Hydrometer will measure the specific gravity of the liquid you are about to ferment giving you a guide to the ABV you will be producing.
The Hydrometer is then designed to ensure sugar is converted into alcohol during the fermentation process. As the sugar converts the gravity will fall.
The trial jar works in conjunction with the hydrometer allowing you to take a small sample of beer or wine for testing purposes.
Please note Hydrometer is made from glass.
